About Company

House of Kidds began its journey as a Home Daycare and is owned by Kemisha Allen. House of Kidds Childcare Learning Center opened its first facility in September of 2004. We now have expanded by opening two additional locations. House of Kidds provides services to children ages 6 weeks to 13-years-old. We offer Transportation services, Drop-in. services, Early Head start/ Head Start Services, Hot Meals, Bilingual Teaching Experiences, Summer Camp Sessions, a Private Playground area, and much more.

Our Mission & Vision

it is our mission to create an environment that focuses on the growth and development of every child. In doing so, we believe that the whole child approach is essential when considering our pursuit. When providing services to the whole child, this means making sure all children are in a safe place, healthy, and getting the attention that they need. Enforcing family engagement is necessary to any child’s educational success.

Licensing

House of Kidds Learning Center is licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. We undergo frequent monitoring by DCFS in addition to health, sanitation, and safety inspections. Our programs meet and exceed all required standards. House of Kidds has the distinction of NAEYC Accreditation and the IL ExceleRate Gold Circle of Excellence.

Our Programs

The primary goal of our program is to provide steady development for the whole child. This includes the child’s intellectual, physical, and social capabilities. Educational programs are available for the following age groups:

Early Head Start Program

For infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks and 2 years old, some of the benefits include free diapers, wipes, formula, and family support services.

Head Start Program

For preschool aged children ages 3 to 5 years old, children in this program will receive an enriched learning experience through teaching strategies gold

After School Program

For children who are enrolled into school ages 5 to 13 years old, this includes transportation to and from school, homework help, extra curriculum activities, such as dance classes, cooking classes, outdoor sports as well as summer camp sessions

Classroom Ratios

Infants

6 weeks to 15 months old.
4:1 teacher child ratio

Toddlers

15 months- 24 months.
5:1 teacher child ratio

Two's

24 months to 36 months.
8:1 teacher child ratio

Pre-School

3 & 5 years old.
10:1 teacher child ratio

School Age

Before and After Schools Care with Transportation,
Holiday and School Break Care, Summer Camp
